FLC-Series 120

FLC-Series 120

The Frieghtliner FLC- Series consists of the FLC, FLC 120, FLC 120 64, FLC 120 64 T and FLC 120 84.  There was a model update in 1984.   They don’t make them like this anymore. The Freightliner FLC, introduced in the 1970s, was a game-changer for long-haul trucking—lightweight yet strong, with powerful engine options like Cummins and Detroit Diesel. Its legacy lives on, with many still on the road today.

The FLC trucks deserve a classic seat with extra special upholestry.  These trucks take a standard seat - but we know you folks like to ride low...consider a Knoedler Harrier with Low 1" riser to keep that low feel but a little cushion in your ride and take a little bounce out of the road.   Special frabrics are available is a show truck is your style.

The FLC Series should have the standard 4.65" x 12" seat bolt pattern.

Consider seats with Swivel for sleeper cab configurations and make the most out of your time on the road.

In 2024, Freightliner revealed the Fifth Generation Cascadia.  Many safety upgrades like mirror cam system, intelligent LED headlights, intelligent braking, side guard assist and active lane assist.  The 5th generation keeps the driver safe with the same seat from ISRI.  Some like it - some don't.  There are great aftermarket options if you are looking for an upgrade.  Check out the Knoedler Air Chief for a fully customizable seat including diamond sitiching option or go for an active suspension like the Gramag Smart Ready MR seat.

Always assess the fit of a seat to your truck, as your individual cab may be modified or require a special adaptor plate.  Installation of a new truck seat is at the sole discretion of the installer.
