The Peterbilt 330 is a Class 6 medium-duty truck, designed to bridge the gap between lighter-duty delivery trucks and vocational chassis. Known for its durability, clean styling, and customizable body options, the 330 is ideal for fleet operators who need both performance and professional appearance.

The 330 is highly versatile and commonly used for:

• Box and reefer trucks (regional delivery)
• Utility service trucks
• Rollback and towing applications
• Flatbed and construction supply
• Bucket trucks or forestry equipment

Its higher GVWR (typically up to 33,000 lbs) makes it suitable for heavier payloads than the 325, while still offering a manageable size for urban and suburban work.

Cab Type:

Like the 325 and 337, the Peterbilt 330 features the 1.9-meter wide vocational cab. This is Peterbilt’s narrower cab platform, built for durability and ease of upfitting. It features a basic, functional interior that can be optioned with premium trim packages.

Aftermarket Seat Compatibility:

The 1.9-meter cab uses a standard vocational bolt pattern (approximately 4.68" x 12"), allowing for wide compatibility with many aftermarket seats. However, due to the narrower cab, seat width and suspension height must be carefully considered to maintain driver comfort and clearance.

Popular aftermarket seats for the 330:

• Knoedler Harrier - available in standard or lo options.  Perfect for the desired clearance.
• National Ensign or Corsair – compact air-ride and mechanical suspension options
• Bostrom Wide Ride – may require a low-profile base for clearance

Seat Installation Notes:

• Most seats will bolt in directly
• Be mindful of floor-to-ceiling clearance, especially with high-back seats.
• Some models with in-cab accessories (like battery boxes or HVAC ducts) may need custom brackets or shims.
