Introducing Big Rig Seats Auction: Bid on Class 8 Truck Seats Starting October 12

Seat Specialists is opening a new way to buy and sell truck seats: by auction. Our first one goes live on Monday, October 12, 2026, and you need to be a member of our Facebook group to take part.

What is Big Rig Seats Auction?

Big Rig Seats Auction is our new Facebook group for Class 8 semi truck seats. It's hosted by the same Seat Specialists team you already know from seat-specialists.com.

Seat Specialists and group members post seats and seat parts in the group, set a starting bid and let members bid on them. You'll see brands like National, Bostrom, Sears, Knoedler and Prime Seating, in new, overstock, open-box condition. 

If you've been waiting for a good price on an air-ride seat for your Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Volvo, Mack, International or Western Star, this is the place to watch.

The first auction is October 12, 2026

Our first auction opens on Monday, October 12, 2026.

Every auction post will show:

• Clear photos of the seat
• Brand, model and part number
• Condition
• Starting bid and bid increment
• The exact time the auction closes
• Pick Up or Shipping Details

How bidding works

1. Join the group. Only members can see and bid on auctions.
2. Find an auction post and check the details.
3. Comment your bid as a dollar amount, such as "$450."
4. The highest bid at closing time wins. The winner and the seller then message each other to arrange payment and shipping.

Have seats to sell?

Members can run their own auctions too. If you have a seat or seat parts sitting in your shop or garage, list them in the group and let other drivers and fleets bid.

Every listing needs:

• Clear photos that show the real condition, including any tears, stains or leaks
• Brand, model and part number if you know it
• Condition: new, used, open-box or rebuilt
• Starting bid, bid increment and closing time
• Shipping or pickup details

Sales between members are arranged directly between the buyer and the seller. Seat Specialists moderates the group to keep auctions fair, but we aren't a party to member-to-member sales. The full seller rules are pinned in the group.

Auctions run only inside the Facebook group, so you'll need to join before October 12 to bid or sell. Membership is free.
