The world of Truck Seating is often a difficult one to navigate.  One of the first questions we are asked is., "will this seat fit into my truck?".  Generally, standard height seats going into a Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mack, Freightliner, Sterling or Western Star will follow the standard bolt pattern of:   4.68" side to side and 12" front to back..  If the floor is not flat or has a wide mount seat in it such as the Freightliner M2, Volvo or International truck seats there are adaptors and special seats available to you.  Seat Specialists has compiled a list of suggestions and recommendations on seats by Truck model.  Some trucks will only fit low profile seats.  If the top of the seat cushion is less than 13" from the floor without any air, it is best to take a look at this category of seats:  Low Profile Truck Seating

Please note, that these are just options to look at.  We all know that trucks have a very long life and the original seat may be long gone, holes may have been drilled, adaptor plates may already be there and new models/years may have switched to a new seat manufacturer.
